Within project GEoUS Horizont 2020 we invite you to a webinar. The topic is: „Citizen engagement".

We would like to invite you a to a webinar, which will be held as a part of the GEoUS project.

The topic of the webinar is "Creating commercial opportunities from research“.

The webinar will be led by Dieter Weise and Thomas Doppelberger (Leader Fraunhofer Venture), from Fraunhofer. Fraunhofer Venture is responsible for spin-off and investment management for Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft e.V.- Europe's largest institute for applied research. Fraunhofer Venture turns world-class technology into successful start-ups and bring innovative ideas to market. Fraunhofer Venture is always looking for researchers and entrepreneurs with a science, business or start-up background who want to change the world. Fraunhofer Venture provides everything they need to reach their goals, including access to technology, unique company building, seed capital and partnerships. Fraunhofer Venture's range of services includes support and consulting services from the initial idea phase to company launch, helping company's find funding and structure a possible exit as well as support programs and other offers. So, I think it is interesting for those, who think about founding their own business.

The Fraunhofer Patents and Licensing department offers the Fraunhofer Institutes a comprehensive range of services in the following areas: Stimulation and evaluation of inventions, deposit, IP applications, obtaining, enforcing and defending IP rights, formation and optimization of patent portfolios, searches, patent software and exploitation of IP rights. - So this part is more interesting for those, who made an invention and plan to stay and profit from it.
