Summary
This research dealt with automatic quality monitoring and benchmarking of mobile networks. The developed tool provides unattended testing many numbers of qualitative parameters including measuring RSSI, drop-off rates, quality of audio, video, download and upload rates in GSM/UMTS/LTE networks. Results are uploaded to server part where can be presented in geoinformation system. This tool provides overall overview of qualitative parameters of mobile network and is implemented as a probe. Remote management enables also effecient supervision and controlling probes from a central location. The developed tool is result of contract industrial research under under contract agreement no. HS4401512.
