Scientists have made a unique measurement of the digestive tract
13 May | Scientists in Ostrava are working on a new experiment that could significantly change the way digestion is monitored in patients. The measurement is unique in that it combines monitoring of electrical activity directly inside the stomach and on its surface. The aim of the project is to analyse the processes in the digestive tract in a non-invasive way and, if necessary, to adjust the diet of patients.

Radek Martinek, Vice Dean for Science and Research at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VSB-TUO, pointed out the need to connect clinical experts, technology developers and health policy makers in his speech in the Chamber of Deputies today.
