The goal of the cooperation is to foster high school students’ interest in technical fields, involve them in competitions, excursions, internships, and professional practice, and offer them the opportunity to participate in project and final theses. An important part is also the exchange of experience among teachers in innovating school curricula, joint participation in grant and educational projects, as well as targeted support for gifted students.

“We believe that this partnership will help motivate young people to study technical fields and provide them with unique opportunities for further development,” said the Dean of the Faculty, Jan Platoš.

One of the first partner schools of the Faculty became the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics in Ostrava. “Signing the agreement with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is a confirmation of long-term cooperation and trust for our school. I look forward to joint projects that will open new opportunities for our students,” said the school’s principal, Zbyněk Pospěch.
