Space projects attract media attention

Thirteen Czech scientific experiments, which will fly with Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda to the International Space Station (ISS), have been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA). The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VŠB-TUO has achieved a significant success, sending two projects into space. Both experiments combine cutting-edge technologies in the fields of nanorobotics, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and sensor technology.

On the ČT Dobré ráno program, Professor Radek Martinek presented the CONREX project, which will be the world's first experiment in nanorobotics in orbit. Together with Mgr. Radek Šíp from Masaryk University in Brno, they talked about the ISS T-shirt, which will help to better monitor the health of astronauts.
