On December 15, representatives of ČEZ presented more than fifteen years of cooperation focused on educating students in strategic areas of energy. Linda Navrátilová, head of the strategic recruitment group at the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant, and Lucie Urbánková, HR recruitment specialist, participated in the meeting with Dean Radek Martinek and Radomír Goň, head of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering.
The company offers our students lectures by experts from the field focused on nuclear energy, renewable sources, electromobility, and electricity distribution. The cooperation also includes excursions to operations and participation in events such as the Summer University at Nuclear Power Plants, SMR Camp, Photovoltaic Academy, and Nuclear Academy. Students have the opportunity to write their bachelor's and master's theses and complete professional internships at ČEZ Group companies.
"We promote all these activities among students and include professional lectures by ČEZ representatives in the teaching of selected subjects. The company also presents itself at events such as Open Days, Art and Science, and Career+," noted Radomír Goňo. Dean Radek Martinek also provided information about new opportunities for further education for ČEZ Group employees in the form of courses culminating in micro-certificates and offered participation in the planned VŠB-TUO delegation to South Korea.
