The cooperation will focus on the use of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, telemedicine, and the digitization of healthcare processes. The aim is to link the faculty's technological capabilities with the practical needs of the hospital and to support the transfer of innovations into clinical practice.
The memorandum provides for joint research and application projects, the involvement of students in the hospital's professional activities in the form of internships and final theses, and the sharing of professional knowledge and experience. The cooperation will also include joint publications and popularization outputs as well as participation in professional events.
The document was signed by the dean of the faculty, Radek Martinek, and, on behalf of AGEL Nový Jičín Hospital, by the chairman of the board, Jakub Fejfar, and the vice-chairman of the board, Pavel Kameník.
