The workshop programme focused on the current status of the project, including the Critical Design Review milestone, and on the presentation of practical deployment scenarios for the DECOSIS system, which develops advanced tools for processing sensor data from UAV swarms using artificial intelligence.
The meeting brought together representatives of the participating organisations: VSB–TUO, the University of Defence, companies UpVision and IMPAERIA GLOBAL, as well as representatives of the application guarantor and the Czech Armed Forces.
The discussion confirmed that the project is successfully progressing towards the implementation phase and aims to significantly contribute to faster decision-making processes, automated detection, and more efficient command and control in demanding operational conditions. An important topic was also the integration of 5G technologies for data transmission, which can ensure robust, fast, and reliable communication between system components during real-world deployment.
The DECOSIS project is supported by the TA CR PRODEF programme for applied research in the defence industry. Key applications include deployment in both military and civilian domains, such as rescue and security services.
