The visit built on the successful scientific collaboration to date, which has already resulted in joint publications and research internships.
During the visit, the international guests toured laboratories focused on the fundamentals and applications of automation, robotics, electronics, signal processing, and biomedical engineering.
“An important part of the program was discussions about ongoing scientific collaboration, which has already resulted in joint scientific articles and several research internships. We also discussed further opportunities for collaboration in the areas of scientific research and education,” said Professor Petr Bilík, deputy head of the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering.
Representing the Polish side at the meeting were representatives from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Information Technology: Dr. Mirosław Szmajda, Dr. Mirosław Chyliński, Dr. Adam Łysiak, and Dr. Krzysztof Górecki.
