"Receiving this award was a great and very pleasant surprise. I invested a tremendous amount of time, effort, and enthusiasm into this project, so I truly appreciate this recognition," says Dalibor Slíva.
The developed device features six glass stations, a rotary carousel, and a multi-layer control system based on the Raspberry Pi and ESP32 platforms. As part of the project, Dalibor designed and built the mechanical structure, electronic circuits, and control software.
The result is a fully functional prototype of an automated beverage dispenser that successfully validated the proposed concept and provides a solid foundation for further technical development.
"Dalibor Slíva's master's thesis represents an outstanding engineering achievement in every respect. The author developed a fully functional demonstration model whose technical quality clearly exceeds the standard requirements expected of master's degree graduates," says the thesis supervisor, Assoc. Prof. René Jaroš, Ph.D.
Dalibor Slíva will continue building on the knowledge and experience gained during his master's thesis in his professional career.
"After graduating, I will stay in the field and start working as an embedded systems developer. I look forward to further developing my expertise in electronics design, firmware development, and complex embedded solutions while contributing to exciting new projects," he says.
