With the start of the new academic year, returning students are coming back to the Faculty, while FEI is also welcoming its new first-year students. They can look forward to lectures, seminars and hands-on work in laboratories, as well as opportunities to take part in student activities, research projects, cooperation with industry and international mobility programmes.

“Whether you are returning to FEI after the summer break or joining us for the very first time, welcome. Our Faculty is not just about lecture halls and laboratories – above all, it is about people: students, academics and all our colleagues who contribute every day to moving FEI forward,” says Radek Martinek, Dean of FEI.

The Faculty also used the summer months to prepare for the new academic year. Work continued on research projects, the development of laboratories, and the preparation of events and new opportunities for students and staff.

A special welcome goes to those who are beginning their university studies at FEI this year. “I believe you have made the right choice and that you will successfully complete your studies. And if things are not always easy, remember that you are not alone. We are here to help and support you,” adds the Dean.

FEI enters the 2026/2027 academic year with 3 500 students and a range of new projects, events and activities.
