SSIP 2027 will bring together researchers, industry experts and PhD students working in sensor technologies, signal and image processing, and related fields. Conference topics include advanced sensors and intelligent sensing systems, emerging signal processing methods, AI-driven signal and image processing, computer vision, biomedical signal and medical image processing, and intelligent wireless systems.

FEI is also strongly represented in the conference leadership, organizing and programme committees. The Honorary Chair is Seyedali Mirjalili of Torrens University and VSB-TUO, the Conference Chairs are Radek Martinek and Miroslav Vozňák, Václav Snášel serves as Conference Co-Chair, and Radana Kahanková and Jan Platoš are among the Program Chairs. Other representatives of the Faculty are also involved in preparing the scientific programme and organizing the conference.

The Call for Papers is now open. Authors are invited to submit their papers by 15 January 2027. Accepted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted for indexing in Ei Compendex and Scopus.
