The research activities focus on current issues in the field of production, distribution, storage, and consumption of electrical energy. They address the diagnostics and reliability of power equipment, lighting systems, control and security of smart buildings, and the effects of harmonic distortions in voltage and current waveforms. Research is also carried out on electrical machines and instruments, as well as on magnetic fields in electric traction.
The research team consists of employees of the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and students of master's and doctoral programs. The expert group focuses on current issues in electrical engineering.
The team participates in teaching within the study programs Electrical Power Engineering and Design of Electrical Systems and Technologies.
