Digital image processing and computer graphics
The group deals primarily with image and video analysis, computer graphics and visualization, including virtual and augmented reality. It also focuses on the processing and analysis of point clouds (deep and Lidar data), including recognition of 3D objects in these data.
Research topics:
- Advanced methods in the processing and analysis of images, especially the methods based on artificial intelligence.
- Computer graphics and visualization, virtual and augmented reality.
- Creating 3D models from image data.
- Measurement of road transport parameters with the use of CCTV systems and image processing.
- Calculations on GPU.
