Testbed CPIT TL3 presented in Brno

We took a look into the world of digitalization and automation together at the Industry 4.0 Open Day in Brno. In the Innovation Ecosystem section, which focused on concrete examples and opportunities for collaboration in the field of experimental development, testing and education, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science presented Testbed CPIT TL3.

Visitors had the opportunity to see testbeds from Prague, Brno and Ostrava. The head of the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the FEI, Jiří Koziorek, introduced the Ostrava testbed and also presented specific cases of activities solved within the EDIH Ostrava and AI-MATTERS project.
Directly from the testbed, Radim Hercík joined in and presented Smart Factory. His demonstration focused on introducing a fleet of mobile robots working with a group of industrial robots. The possibilities to simulate and optimize these systems were also presented.
The event was organised by the National Centre for Industry 4.0 and partners at CEITEC BUT, RICAIP Testbed Brno.
