26 August | The Czech Society for Artificial Intelligence and Innovative Digital Technologies in Medicine (CSAIM) was established as a new professional society. Radek Martinek, Vice-Dean for Science and Research from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FEECS), became the Vice-Chairman for Implementation and Development.
Representatives of the Ministry of Transport were interested in the activities of VŠB-TUO in the field of autonomous mobility
19 August | On 15 August, the first joint workshop with representatives of the Ministry of Transport focused on autonomous mobility, research and innovation took place at the University of Applied Sciences and Technology. The university presented its automotive-oriented activities at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FEECS) and the Faculty of Materials Technology (FMT).
Professor Seyedali Mirjalili will strengthen the FEECS team at VSB-TUO as part of Project Refresh.
12 August | Professor Seyedali Mirjalili, who was also a guest at the FEI Journal Club, will strengthen the FEECS team at VSB - Technical University of Ostrava as part of the Project Refresh in the Industry 4.0 & Mobility Lab living laboratory.

One of the secondary goals is also the effort to eradicate the stereotypical negative opinion of computer games.
