Summary
The aim of the presented project is to develop and verify an innovative system for visual inspection of production tools and final products in metallurgical operations. This system combines machine vision with artificial intelligence algorithms to detect and predict defects in real time. Integration into the MES production information system will reduce scrap rates, save energy and increase efficiency in production. The result is a functional pilot solution that will be deployed at the project partner and ready for further commercial use.
