Summary
The applicant has obtained together with Professor Alexander Rosa, McMaster University, Canada, new results in the field of Graph Theory, namely in one-factorizations of complete graphs and in graph designs. The former result extends previous research of both authors in one-factorizations and their applications. The latter result completes recently obtained partial result of authors H.-D.O.F. Gronau, R.C. Mullin, A. Rosa, P.J. Schellenberg and together with it gives a complete characterization of graph designs on friendship graphs. Presentation of the results will allow to speed up the research in the field. It will also enable to start collaboration with other mathematicians in this area and increase the international reputation of the applicant's university.
