Summary
The project will provide interfacing current information systems using uniform interface for various operation platforms. Some primary data sources of both institutions are supposed to be transported to and accessible on INTRANET and INTERNET. To search information promptly, WWW servers will be installed and databases from the field of agriculture will be purchased. The main objective is to use financial means for research more effectively and to avoid conducting duplicate research. The project will provide the access to digitised information from both agricultural and technical sciences. After the project is finished, the system will be partly transformed to a commercial basis in the field where its services will be beyond current services provided by INTERNET free of charge, and it will operate without any other financial support from the state.
