Summary
Present technologies determine higher requirements on dynamic performance of controlled electromechanical systems. Significant parts of the systems are electrical drives. which are the basic elements of electromechanical conversion of electrical energy.T he efficiency of electromechanical conversion is also influenced by the control quality connected with dynamics of the given system of conversion, which is ensured by modern control algorithms realised by high performance microcontrollers. Referring toth e usage of modern control technologies, significant improvement of technical parameters of electromechanical systems occurs. Applications of new digital signal processors in control of electrical drives allow implementing very complex controlalgorithms i ncluding artificial intelligence. Fuzzy logic, neural networks. genetic algorithms and their combinations are considered in the field of artificial intelligence.
