Summary
The proposed project deals with the analysis of using the latest mathematical procedures and the study of the nonperiodic signal wavelets. The project follows the trends of applications of the mathematical wavelet theory for solution of the pracical inte rpretation problems above all. Within the framework of the project, the modelling geophysical problems will be solved and the experimental data will be interpreted. The new theoretical procedures for the solution of the problems will be proposed with reg ard to efficiency in the computer implementation. The applicability of the wavelets both for interpretation of the digital recorded experimental geophysical data and solution of the inverse problems will be analysed.
