Fibre optics in the testbed serve students and research

24 April | Scientists from the VSB-TUO have achieved a significant success in the field of space research. Two projects have been selected for implementation on board the International Space Station (ISS) as part of the mission of Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda.

Cyber Olympics attracted dozens of young engineers

24 April | Primary and secondary school pupils tested their knowledge and skills at the traditional Cyber Olympiad, which took place at theVSB-TUO as part of the Improve Your Technology Day. 60 pupils and students took part in the competition.

At the turn of spring and summer 2016, ESPORT VSB-TUO OSTRAVA LEAGUE was established as an active association that focuses on the phenomenon of computer games and the association of people who are active in this community. One of the secondary goals is also the effort to eradicate the stereotypical negative opinion of computer games.
