The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VŠB-TUO has achieved a significant success, sending two projects into space. Both experiments combine cutting-edge technologies in the fields of nanorobotics, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and sensor technology.
How much energy does a vehicle really consume while driving, and how can this consumption be accurately determined for different types of propulsion systems? This was the focus of the master’s thesis by Ing. Tomáš Kapusňák, a recent graduate of the Computer Science master’s program at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava.
Matej Šturek, a student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, took part in the ČEZ FVE Hackathon – Photovoltaic Academy. The event offered students from technical universities practical training in photovoltaics, excursions to major energy facilities, and collaboration in international teams.
