Testing Polygon BroadbandLIGHT

Research into the possibilities of SMART public lighting applications

• BroadbandLIGHT technology test platform for outdoor and indoor deployment
• the test polygon is located in the parking lot of the new building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (FEECS)

Equipment

1. 70 parking spaces.
2. 17 test positions (10 masts, 7 positions with 2 luminaires, 3 luminaires separately).
3. All types of technologies are used to provide data connectivity (optical networks, mobile network, powerline communication).
4. Control, communication and monitoring system centralised in the "BroadbandLIGHT Technology Laboratory for SMART City and Industry 4.0"
