The Department of Electrical Power Engineering provides education in Bachelor’s (in Czech only), Master’s and Doctoral degree programs in the subject of Electrical power engineering. The continuation Master’s degree program is divided into three areas: transmission and distribution of electricity, electricity production and electrical machinery and instruments. It educates electrical engineers with knowledge about the electrical power industry, where they are able to adapt to problem solving in different areas of electrical engineering and possess specialized knowledge that they can use to solve problems in the production, transmission, distribution and use of electricity. During their studies, the graduates will acquire the necessary knowledge in the subjects of electrical engineering and in basic and special subjects from the areas of power generation, transmission and distribution of electricity and use of electricity.
