General abilities of graduate

Students of the follow-up master’s study program are able to:

  1. make independent and responsible decisions within new or changing contexts or in a fundamentally changing environment, taking into account the wider social implications of the decision.
  2. according to the evolving context and the available resources, define the terms of reference for professional activities, coordinate them, and bear the ultimate responsibility for their results.
  3. independently solve an ethical problem.
  4. clearly and persuasively communicate their own expert opinions both to professionals and to the general public
  5. use their expertise, skills and general competence in at least one foreign language.
  6. plan, support and manage the acquisition of additional expertise, skills and competencies of other team members, using the theoretical knowledge of the discipline.

Graduate knowledge

Graduates of the follow-up master’s study program demonstrate:

  1. a broad knowledge and understanding of the subject and scope of the discipline corresponding to the contemporary state of the knowledge.
  2. a wide and/or deep knowledge and understanding of theories, concepts and methods appropriate to the contemporary state of knowledge of the discipline.
  3. an understanding of the possibilities, conditions and restrictions on the use of knowledge of related disciplines.

Graduate skills

Graduates of the follow-up master’s study program are able to:

  1. using their expertise, independently identify and creatively solve theoretical or practical problems in the field.
  2. solve complex problems independently and creatively using selected theories, concepts and methods of the discipline.
  3. use some of the advanced research methods of the discipline in a way which enables the acquisition of new and original information.

General abilities of graduate:

Students of the Doctoral study program are able to:

  1. assess new knowledge and ideas with regard to the long-term social consequences of their use.
  2. plan extensive activities of a creative nature and gather and schedule resources for their implementation.
  3. independently solve complex ethical issues during creative activity or whilst using its results.
  4. clearly and persuasively communicate their own knowledge in the discipline to other members of the scientific community at an international level, and also to the general public.
  5. use their expertise, skills and general competence in at least one foreign language.
  6. acquire new expertise, skills and competences through their own creative work, and influence the conditions and context of education of others.

Graduate knowledge

Graduates of the Doctoral study program demonstrate:

  1. a deep and systematic knowledge and understanding of the subject and scope of the discipline corresponding to its contemporary state of knowledge.
  2. a deep and systematic knowledge and understanding of theories, concepts and methods appropriate to the contemporary state of knowledge of the discipline at the international le­vel.
  3. an understanding of the system of sciences and research problems on the discipline's bou­ndaries.

Graduate skills

Graduates of the Doctoral study program are able to:

  1. design and use advanced research techniques in the discipline in a manner allowing the expansion of knowledge of the discipline through original research.
  2. develop and evaluate theories, concepts and methods of the discipline, including the definition of fields or their inclusion in wider areas.
