The project helps VSB-TUO to became a centre of excellence in geothermal energy storage and systems in the country. EU funding of the GeoUS project will enable the university to enhance the scientific excellence of its personnel and collaborate with leading international research institutions in the field. Young researchers will have the chance to study fundamental and practical aspects of developing geothermal energy sustainably.
